How many colors in copper?

The common colors of copper is red copper, brass and patina. But GENS has advanced color processing technology,we can do hundreds of color surface treatment.

Red copper: It refers to pure copper, the main varieties are oxygen-free copper, red copper, coalesced copper, silver copper. It is not pure copper, sometimes a small amount of deoxidizing elements or other elements are added to improve the material and properties, so it is also classified as copper alloy.

Application: Copper is widely use in many aspects, include doors, windows, armrests and other furniture and decoration.

Pure copper: China is commonly known as `purple copper', Japan and Taiwan are commonly known as `red copper'.

Red copper, also known as pure copper, has a density of 8.96 and a melting point of 1083 C. It has good conductivity and thermal conductivity, excellent plasticity, and is easy to be processed by hot and cold pressure. It is widely used in the manufacture of electrical wires, cables, brushes, special copper for spark and other products requiring good conductivity.

Brass: It refers to the alloy based on copper and zinc. With the increase of zinc content, the color of brass changes from red to golden, which can be subdivided into simple brass and complex brass. In complex brass, the third component is named nickel brass, silicon brass, etc. The copper alloy with zinc as the main additive element has beautiful color, collectively called brass.

Bronze:It refers to copper-based alloys other than copper-nickel and copper-zinc alloys. The main varieties are tin bronze, aluminum bronze and special bronze (also known as high copper alloy).

Copper will produce different changes after oxidation. Under normal temperature oxidation, copper will be green.
